This page explains how to request deletion of your Peniang account and the personal data associated with it. It covers both deleting your account and deleting your data.
Delete your account from the app (fastest)
If you can sign in:
- Open the Peniang app and sign in.
- Go to Profile → Account Security.
- Tap "Delete account".
- Enter your password to confirm.
Your account is deleted right away and you are signed out.
Request deletion by email (alternative)
If you cannot sign in, email contact@aitecaf.com from the email address on your account, with the subject "Account deletion request". Include the phone number or email registered to your account so we can verify you. We process verified requests within 30 days.
To delete only specific data without closing your account, email contact@aitecaf.com with the subject "Data deletion request" and tell us what you would like removed.
What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, we delete or anonymize the personal data associated with it, including:
- Your profile: name, phone number, email address, password, and profile photo.
- Your addresses, collection points, and trash bins.
- Your waste reports and uploaded photos.
- Your scheduled pickups, orders, and subscription records linked to your identity.
- Your device push-notification token.
What we keep, and for how long
We may retain limited information where the law requires it or to protect our legitimate interests, for example:
- Transaction and invoice records for accounting, tax, and fraud-prevention purposes, kept for the period required by applicable law.
- Records we must keep to comply with a legal obligation or resolve a dispute, kept only as long as necessary.
Retained records are minimized and, where possible, anonymized. Copies in encrypted backups are removed on our regular backup rotation cycle, within 30 to 90 days.
