Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when and how payments made through Peniang — operated by AITECAF — may be refunded. It applies to donations to community cleanup projects and to payments for services booked through the Service.

1. Overview

Most payments on Peniang are donations that immediately support community cleanup projects. Because funds are committed to projects, donations are generally non-refundable, except in the specific cases below.

2. Donations are generally non-refundable

Once a donation is confirmed, it is applied to the selected cleanup project and is generally non-refundable. Please check the amount and project before you pay.

3. When we issue refunds

We will review and, where appropriate, refund a payment that was charged in error or duplicated, not authorized by the cardholder or account holder, or charged for a service that was not delivered. Refunds are returned to the original payment method.

4. How to request a refund

Email contact@aitecaf.com within 14 days of the payment with your name, the approximate date and amount, the project or service, and any receipt or reference. We aim to respond within a few business days.

5. Failed or pending payments

If a payment fails or stays pending, you are not charged, or any authorized amount is released or refunded automatically by the payment provider. No action is usually needed on your part.

6. Currency and processing fees

Card donations are processed in a supported currency (for example EUR or USD); mobile-money donations are processed in XAF. Where a refund is issued, third-party processing fees may be non-recoverable and currency-conversion differences are outside our control.

7. Chargebacks and disputes

If you don't recognize a charge, please contact us first so we can resolve it quickly. Filing a chargeback without contacting us may delay resolution.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time and will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date.
